Weekly reminders for self care when it is not scheduled in the planner

coLab will send out weekly reminders to users if self-care has not been scheduled for the week. The system will help new parents to maintain a work-life balance amidst their chaotic schedules.

  • Users felt more motivated and organized with the ability to visualize their completed and in progress tasks for the week.
  • Choosing the right verbiage is important for users to complete their tasks efficiently. Choosing the wrong verbiage may confuse and make users felt doubtful.
  • Some icon placement in the app should be placed consistently in order to reduce in confusion when navigating the app.

Creating a collaborative weekly tasks.

Outcomes

  • The amount of time used to plan on weekly tasks among couples have been reduced significantly.
  • Tasks are divided equally amongst couples based on each person’s availability and skills.
  • A personalized structured and organized list of tasks for users to follow. Users are able to visualize and prioritize the multitude of tasks associated with the new life of a parent.
  • Time that would usually be ineffectively spent on planning and dealing with tasks can now be spent on more fruitful endeavors. (e.g.: hobbies, work, self-care).

  • Users would get motivated and appreciated by their spouse from completing tasks.
  • Users will be able to receive feedback from successfully completing their tasks.
